Tired of pictures of hairstyles in the “knitting” tag? Tired of pictures of kittens tagged as “hamsters”. Most of these come from WeHeartIt, where anyone can add whatever irrelevant tags they want to any post, and then all of those tags get added here when their users use WeHeartIt’s Tumblr button.
Because of the Tumblr button, these things get re-posted OVER AND OVER AGAIN, always with the same pile of irrelevant tags.
Use the link above to tell WeHeartIt how you feel about this. Tell them to remove the Tumblr button from their site. It is destroying every single tag I have ever tracked with constant reposts of irrelevant content.
COME ON KNITTERS UNITE. I’ve sent my message.
I hate We Heart It, they take away attention from the original artist which I think is DISGUSTING. I probably wrote a thousand word angry essay but if we all ban together and all write a message, no matter how long or short, WE CAN GET OUR KNITTING TAG BACK!
I love the knitting tag, you guys are human, everything you post is from you or something you want to make. We help each other here, we’re a community. We don’t need hair crap in our tags. I love seeing other people be artsy, create and put their own spin on things. That’s why I always chill here. I love you guys in the knitting tag.So PLEASE write something to weheartit. I placed it under tags and search because it’s affecting the tags and search of tumblr.
I agree, it’s so annoying, although I doubt they willchange their tagging system for us…
I really miss the Suehiro Maruo mangas I owned and left with my ex. They are such a distinctive and disturbing style, they make you remember the stories and intrigue you with their bizarre, dark and grotesque themes.

Best idea ever for those shirts that tend to slide off your shoulders. Sew in a simple clip to attach around your bra.

You look just like your father: split face portraits of family members
Ulric Collette is a photographer from Quebec. He studied art and graphic design at school and currently works as an art director for Collette, an advertising studio in Quebec City.
In this series, called Genetic Portraits, Ulric splices together portraits of family members to explore genetic similarities.
From parents and their children, to twins, siblings and cousins, the series is fascinating, and just a little bit spooky.
The project was shortlisted for a Cannes Lion.

“This gorgeous Hälssen & Lyon calendar is made of brewable tea. Each day is made of fine pressed wafer thin tea leaves.”
I want this sooooo bad!
